Q4 Fraud Impact Report - Email & Ticket InvestigationRisk & Fraud
Task prompt
My lead asked for a Q4 fraud impact report and I need to understand the scope of fraud related issues our customers have been experiencing. Rather than looking at specific cases, I need you to help me discover what is out there across our mailbox and support queue — not just one quarter's date window. Dig through email for fraud-related customer threads so we can see volume and the main senders and responders. When a thread looks high risk, open it fully and pull the details — don't stop at search snippets. On the support side, find fraud-related tickets that are still pending (not open, resolved, or closed). The queue is noisy, so don't dig into everything: pick a couple of representative pending cases, review their histories so I can see who the customers are and how cases are being handled, and say whether this looks like a pattern or isolated incidents. When you're done, write me a short memo I can forward to my lead — not a raw dump of tool output. Cover: (1) Email scope — roughly how many fraud-related threads/messages you found, who the main senders and responders are, and a brief note on the highest-risk threads (subject, parties, what happened). (2) Support queue — which pending fraud tickets you reviewed, customer/context from their history, and whether this looks like a pattern or isolated cases. Keep it concise and factual; only include details you actually verified. Also create a Slack channel named q4-fraud-impact and post a short message there that lists the representative pending fraud ticket IDs you reviewed (just the IDs in a clear list so the team can pull them up later).
