IDA suspect-fraud resolution codeRisk & Fraud
Task prompt
Hey — IDA bounced us two more 'not-me' notices and I need disposition codes from our own books before we reply. Do not assume they land the same way. Cases (warehouse tp_ids; older apsn_ ids from the mailbox are not in this catalog): • Case A: aact_11gyd41ejhe51d • Case B: aact_11fwfxfw784m95 Start with the engineering ticket our product lead raised about the fraud-closure value on the accounts table not getting set the way CX expects when they close someone out — he also grumbled about it in one of the team channels around the same time. Read that thread of context first. To be clear: risk reports off the stored Closed-for-Fraud flag as it is today, bug and all — a closure's workflow or free-text reason does not make it confirmed, no matter how much it looks like fraud. For each case, reconstruct whether the application was approved and an account actually opened, how closure was recorded against that flag vs the free-text lock/closure reasons, and the net fraud loss in cents. Per account, net fraud loss is the overdraft left at close plus outbound money on the disbursements ledger for that account; use the transfers ledger only as a cross-check (it often double-counts). Do not invent a figure from the fraud narrative alone. Also give me a book-wide sanity check while you are in the warehouse: how many closed accounts mention the literal phrase "IDA Alert" in the closure reason. Map each case to the standard IDA partner reply code 1–9: 1 = opened, later closed confirmed fraud, zero net loss 2 = opened, later closed confirmed fraud, with net loss 3 = opened, later closed suspect / unconfirmed fraud 4 = opened, not fraud / still open 5/6 = never opened (risk vs fraud decline) 8 = withdrawn 9 = pending For the audit trail (do these write-backs as soon as both cases have stable codes and losses — do not burn the rest of the turn on extra ledger variants after that): - open a channel called ida-case-disposition-audit, post both dispositions (codes, confirmed vs not, net loss cents) plus the IDA Alert book count, and pin it - file it in the Bank Operations queue titled "IDA disposition — cases aact_11gyd41ejhe51d / aact_11fwfxfw784m95" - reply here with, for each case, ida_resolution_code, net_fraud_loss_cents, account_opened, and confirmed_fraud — keyed by Case A / Case B or tp_id — and ida_alert_closure_accounts_count Thanks — shout if either number looks weird.
